Clothes that carry soul, detail, and meaning.

"I wanted to make clothing the way it used to be made — slowly, by hand, by people whose names I know."
Aira was created by Amrita with a love for clothing that carries soul, detail, and meaning. The brand is a quiet response to fast fashion — to the noise, the waste, and the sameness.
Every piece begins as a length of fabric we've sourced ourselves: handwoven silks, organic cottons, Belgian linens. From there it passes through the hands of artisans who have spent decades practicing their craft.
We work in small numbered runs. Some pieces exist in twelve, some in three. Some are made only when you ask for them.
Slow on purpose.
A single embroidered piece can take eight to fourteen days. Macramé is knotted over a week. Block-printed cottons are pressed by hand, one motif at a time.
We don't release seasons. We release pieces, when they're ready.
